Stagner House
At 211 W. Main Street. A nice example of the
second half of the 1800's house. Apparently the
original clapboard sheathing has not been covered
with vinyl siding. And being on the main street
in town, fortunes allowed a much nicer structure
to evolve with later but appropriate additions.
For many years this building was known as the
Stagner House. A particularly nice feature of
this property is the cast iron fence as it extends
to the neighboring property at 125 Main Street.
This could typify Main Street USA in any small
town. |
